Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Deadline: 11 August 2025

Twaweza East Africa is looking for a highly organised, proactive, and committed individual to join our team as Assistant to the Executive Director. In this key role, you will provide high-level support to the Executive Director, helping her manage a dynamic workload and ensuring smooth internal coordination. You will:

  • Manage the Executive Director’s schedule and workload, including travel and meetings

  • Coordinate and document senior team meetings

  • Review key documents for quality and completeness

  • Facilitate effective communication between the ED’s office and staff or partners

What We’re Looking For
You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn, and values integrity. We’re especially interested in candidates with:

  • A relevant first degree

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar or relevant role

  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Kiswahili

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
