Invitation for Prequalification of a Brand Identity Designer

LearnImpact is a Tanzanian non-profit organisation committed to advancing learning outcomes and systems change through evidence, innovation, and partnerships. We work to strengthen how education programs are designed, implemented, and measured, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to thrive.
We invite qualified and creative Brand Identity Designers, both individuals and firms, locally or internationally, to express interest in developing LearnImpact’s brand identity.
The selected designer will work closely with the LearnImpact team to create a distinctive and impactful brand that captures the organisation’s mission, values, and strategic direction
Scope of Work:
The assignment will include, but is not limited to:
- Designing a logo and a complete visual identity system
- Developing brand guidelines (colour palette, typography, usage standards)
- Producing branded templates (letterheads, presentations, reports, etc.)
- Advising on the overall visual tone and communication style

- Proven experience in brand identity design, preferably for organisations in the education, development, or social impact sectors
- A strong portfolio of relevant work
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines
- Submission of legal and tax registration documents (e.g. Business License, VAT, TIN, or equivalent)
- Capacity to provide EFD-compliant receipts (for Tanzanian applicants)
- Compliance with the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act, 2022, in handling any personal or organisational data shared during the process

Submissions will be reviewed continuously, and only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next stage — Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Contracting.
LearnImpact and Twaweza East Africa reserve the right to accept or reject any submission without assigning reasons. Participation in this prequalification process does not guarantee selection or engagement.
